Techtextil 2011

The current number of registrations for the Techtextil 2011, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, indicates yet another successful fair. By the end of June, registrations had been received from around 70 percent of exhibitors of the last event. Moreover, the organisers, Messe Frankfurt, have noted a growing interest on the part of returning and new exhibitors in Techtextil 2011, which will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 24 to 26 May 2011. “The mood is good following Techtextil 2009, which set a new record despite the difficult economic climate prevailing at the time”, says Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textile Fairs, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. “We are very confident that this trend will continue and have already made a start on the hall planning work”. The deadline for receipt of registrations is 30 September 2010.

Techtextil will also share the fairgrounds with the newly acquired Texprocess, Leading Inter­national Trade Fair for Processing Textile and Flexible Materials, from 24 to 27 May 2011. At Texprocess, around 500 international companies will present the latest machines, processes and accessories for the garment and textile manufacturing industries, as well as for companies specialising in technical-textile processing.
