EDANA has released the programme and registration forms for the Nonwovens Research Academy to be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, on the 19th and 20th April, 2012. In this its 6th edition, the Academy will be hosted by Swerea IVF with the opportunity to visit their facilities and selected departments of Chalmers University. The Nonwovens Research Academy is the premier event for R&D specialists, offering valuable insights into the future of nonwovens, and highlighting current studies and innovative developments across the nonwovens and related industries. The event brings together an interdisciplinary group of academics, students, researchers, scientists and engineers and providing a forum to present and discuss research studies relevant to the nonwovens and related industries.
Releasing the programme of speakers and their topics, and opening registration to the industry, EDANA General Manager Pierre Wiertz stated “EDANA believes that innovative research and close connections between industry and academia are critical to the successful growth of the nonwovens and related industries, and the links created with both promising young students and established scientists will help to meet the needs of company’s R&D departments well into the future.
