Dr. Petry: Inkjet innovations

As the textile ink jet printing sector is recording the relatively highest growth within the textile industry, this technology will become more and more important. For digital printing Dr. Petry Textile Auxiliaries offers Perijet products for different fiber types and various ink systems. The choice of the optimum auxiliary depends on the fiber type as well as on the used ink system. The preparation for digital printing is carried out on conventionally printing-prepared goods, which were already bleached, washed and – when appropriate – singed. Therefore, the textile fabric is padded with Perijet and then dried. Subsequently the textile substrate is digitally printed with reactive, acid or dispersion inks. After that, the print gets fixed and excess dyestuff is washed out.
